Our annual Pride for Parents Christmas Store provides parents with new toys and gifts for purchase to bring joy to their children at Christmas. The joy of living is giving! Help us make smiling faces Christmas morning.

As the holiday season approaches, we’re gearing up for our Pride 4 Parents Christmas Store. If you're interested in volunteering or learning more about how you can help spread joy this holiday season, please fill out our interest form:

What items can I donate to the Pride 4 Parents store?

We welcome donations of new, unwrapped toys and clothing. The most requested items include bicycles, electronic games, tablets/computers, and dolls of color in non-suggestive apparel. We do not accept violent toys, play guns, or knives.
How can I host a toy drive for the store?

You can place flyers and a collection box at your office, school, or place of worship. Encourage your network to fill the box with new toys for our store. Alternatively, you can ask family and friends to donate a toy to Pride for Parents instead of exchanging gifts.
How can I make a financial donation?

If you or your organization prefer to make a financial contribution, please mail it directly to our office at The Encouraging Place, P.O. Box 26443, Raleigh, NC 27611.
How can I volunteer at the Pride 4 Parents store?

We have many opportunities to help, including setting up the store, sorting and pricing toys, stocking shelves, and assisting shoppers. To find out about volunteer opportunities, please join our email list or call us at (919) 773-4516.
Who is eligible to shop at the Pride 4 Parents Christmas Store?

To be eligible, you must be a parent or legal guardian of children who are residents of Wake County.
What do I need to register for shopping?

All shoppers must register online prior to shopping. Please visit our website to complete your registration.
What forms of payment are accepted at the store?

All purchases at the store are cash only. We do not accept checks, debit cards, or credit cards.
What documents are required to shop?

You will need to present the following: Parent/Guardian: Valid ID (driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID) Child: Birth certificate, Medicaid card/letter, school registration, or court document Proof of Financial Need: Medicaid card or letter, unemployment verification, or temporary hardship letter from Pride for Parents staff
