Pride for Parents Christmas Store
Help make a child’s Christmas merry and bright!
Our annual Pride for Parents Christmas Store provides parents with new toys and gifts for purchase to bring joy to their children at Christmas. The joy of living is giving! Help us make smiling faces Christmas morning.
Donate new, unwrapped toys and clothing.
The most requested items are bicycles, electronic games, tablets/computers, dolls of color in non suggestive apparel. We do not accept violent toys, play guns or knives. Feel free to call The Encouraging Place at (919) 773.4516 for more information.
Host a toy drive.
Place fliers and a collection box at your office, school, or place of worship for donors to fill with new toys for our store. Ask family and friends to donate a toy to Pride for Parents instead of exchanging gifts.
Financial donations.
If you or your organization would prefer to give money, please mail it directly to our office at The Encouraging Place, P.O. Box 26443, Raleigh, NC 27611.
Volunteer at the store!

Pride for Parents shopping eligibility requirements.
All shoppers must be parents or legal guardians of children who are residents of Wake County.
All shoppers must register online.
All purchases are cash only. No checks, debit cards or credit cards.
Shoppers must present the following to shop at our store:
Parent/Guardian – Valid ID (driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID)
Child – Birth certificate, Medicaid card/letter, school registration, or court document
Proof of financial need – Medicaid card or letter, unemployment verification, or temporary hardship letter from Pride for Parents staff
